Michele Shirlow MBE is the Chief Executive of Food NI, and a Board Member of Tourism NI. FoodNI is a membership organisation designed to connect the supply chain through a positive promotional message about Northern Ireland’s food and drink. Starting 11 years ago with 6 companies Food NI now represents 450 members who work collectively to ensure the success of the industry and build upon the outputs of Year of Food and Drink 2016. Winner of Worlds Best Food Destination at World travel market in 2018, and a driver behind Taste the Island, FoodNI’s vision is to build a profile as a sustainable food and drink region.
