Sustainability Team of the Year

This award recognises environmental efforts through teamwork from a food or beverage producer on the island of Ireland. Entrants must have 10+ full time employees to enter.


The judges will be looking for a clear demonstration of how the team has come together to work on environmental challenges during the past 12 months that show the power of group work and innovative thinking.


Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.


  • Team Background: Please outline the members of the team, including definition of roles, skills and expertise, academic and professional qualification of staff members, allocation of tasks and how the team communicated.

  • Projects & Initiatives: Summarise the green projects and initiatives the team have undertaken over the past 12 months including the objectives, budgets and results achieved.

  • Teamwork: Outline any challenges faced and how the team demonstrated collaboration, creativity, and flexibility to overcome them.

  • Contributions and Achievements: Describe the contributions and the impact of the team on your organisation's sustainability/environmental targets in this period including innovations introduced, outstanding achievements and benefits of the work carried out.

  • Future plans: Please give details of any future green plans that the team may have. This could include any new tasks to be undertaken, measures to be implemented, or operational infrastructures to be developed.

  • Include any other facts or statements that you feel are relevant to support your entry.
