Nick Holden

Nick’s teaching focuses on life cycle assessment methods and critical assessment of green technologies, and his research addresses the impact and sustainability of agriculture, food and the bioeconomy. He is deputy director of the SFI BiOrbic Bioeconomy Research Centre, a leader of the Consus SFI Strategic Partnership, and is an academic collaborator in FoodSivi, which brings together academic, industry and civil society partners to define standards for quantifying the external costs of the food system. Nick is director and founder of Orbas CTR Ltd (sustainability consulting) and ProvEye Ltd (agricultural intelligence).
